Join Our Strategy and Business Advisory Division Our Strategy and Business Advisory Division works with providers to design strategies that drive alignment while being sustainable, scalable, and adaptable. As part of our team, you’ll help physician and executive leadership make informed decisions that can alter the course of their enterprises in areas such as physician alignment, mergers and acquisitions, service line planning, facility and capital asset planning, and more. Our detailed plans incorporate qualitative findings with data-driven strategic, operational, and financial considerations that enable organizations to pursue realistic change. Our consultants bridge the gap between strategic thinking and operational implementation with sensible action plans and tactical recommendations. This approach allows us to stretch our clients’ thinking while ensuring that initiatives with the broadest and deepest impact are prioritized and implementable. Your Opportunity with ECG: Consultant or Senior Consultant As a consultant or senior consultant at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team. Not only will you partner with some of the industry’s best to reach your highest goals, but you will also make a real difference in people’s lives and grow personally and professionally while doing so. Your Responsibilities May Include: Analyzing and synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations. Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies. Conducting stakeholder interviews. Leading information-gathering efforts. Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets. Drafting project analyses and deliverables. Communicating project progress and seeking input. Developing depth of technical expertise. Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions. Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders. Taking responsibility for project outcomes. Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff. Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping scope and close such engagements. Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests. Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement. Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life. Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks. Our Expectations of You Passion for the healthcare industry Master’s degree in business administration and/or master’s degree in a health-related field preferred Prior work experience in healthcare consulting and/or hospital administration/ operations (1+ years of applicable experience for consultant level; 3+ years for senior consultant level) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills Track record of strong client service Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities Strong written and verbal presentation skills Ability to travel at least 60% of the time Job Locations Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, Seattle, or Washington, DC Schedule Full time/exempt What You Can Expect of Us To reward our driven, innovative, and passionate employees, we’ve built a company culture that’s centered on performance.
